Effects of “Bu Shen Huo Xue Decoction” on the Endometrial Morphology and Expression of Leukaemia Inhibitory Factor in the Rat Uterus during the Oestrous Cycle

چکیده
The purpose of this study was to explore the positive effects of Bu Shen Huo Xue Decoction (BSHXF) on assisted reproduction. The study aimed to evaluate whether BSHXD could improve endometrial morphology and increase the expression of LIF in a gonadotrophin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRHa) long protocol-induced rat model during metestrus, diestrus, proestrus, and oestrus. The BSHXD group presented significantly increased endometrium thickness and decreased MVD compared with the GnRHa long protocol group. In addition, the expression of LIF was significantly higher in the BSHXD group. There were no significant differences between the control group and the BSHXD group in terms of MVD and LIF expression. These results suggested that BSHXD can improve the endometrium development, reduce the abnormal angiogenesis, and increase the expression of receptivity markers in a GnRHa long protocol-induced rat model during the oestrous cycle, which might result in an endometrial environment better suited for female reproduction.

Bu Shen Huo Xue decoction restores endometrial leukemia-inhibitory factor but not Angiopoietin-2 expression, and improves uterine receptivity in the controlled ovarian stimulation rat model
Leukemia-inhibitory factor (LIF) and Angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) are important factors in fertility. In the present study, it was investigated whether Bu Shen Huo Xue Decoction (BSHXD) prevents controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) treatment-induced changes in endometrial LIF and Ang-2 expression and whether it has an effect on the number of implantation sites and live births in rats. Uteri were...
متن کاملP-161: Effect of Naloxone on Endometrial Growth
Background: There is fine correlation between the infertility and lessening of endometrial thickness. In this study the effects of sedative naloxone, and L-arginine, the precursor of nitric oxide (NO), on endometrial thickness of rat uterus was examined. Materials and Methods: Wistar rats (weighing 200-250 g) in Diestrous phase received intra-peritoneal (i.p.) 1. single L-arginine (50 mg/kg), 2...
متن کاملP-99: Evaluation of Pluripotency Markers of Mouse Endometrial Tissue in Different Stages of Estrous Cycle
Background: It is assumed that adult stem/progenitor cells are responsible for cycling remodeling of the uterus endometrium throughout the reproductive life of the female. This study aimed to identify and localize stem/progenitor cells in the mice uterus using immunohistochemistry. Materials and Methods: 6-8 weeks old virgin female NMRI mice were submitted to the vaginal smear examination to de...
متن کاملAcupuncture on the Endometrial Morphology, the Serum Estradiol and Progesterone Levels, and the Expression of Endometrial Leukaemia-inhibitor Factor and Osteopontin in Rats
Although it is well known that acupuncture has beneficial effects on a variety of medical conditions especially in pain relief, nausea, and vomiting, it remains controversial whether it has positive impact on the female reproduction. The present study aimed to evaluate whether the following endometrial receptivity factors: the endometrial morphology, the hormone concentrations, and the protein ...
متن کاملHistology and ultrastructure of the uterus of African giant rat (Cricetomys Gambianus, Waterhouse) during oestrous cycle.
This study describes histology and ultrastructure of uterus in the African giant rat during oestrous cycle. Endometrial histology displayed glandular mucosa consisting of lamina epithelialis and lamina propria mucosae. Its epithelium varied between simple and pseudostratified columnar. The myometrium consisted of inner circular and outer longitudinal smooth muscles with medium sized arteries an...
